Synopsis: A financier facing ruin invites 12 people who are tired of life to dinner. He offers them each £50 but also gives them the choice of joining him in a suicide pact. Just before they drink the poisoned liqueurs, they decide to postpone the pact for one day which is to be spent on one final reckless act. They all find a resolution to their problems and decide they want to live, including the financier.
